Update 1.5.1b


Hello, small stack of fixes here!

I wanted to release a little bit of fixes before I move on to the next big feature planned for 1.6.0 that we can discuss at the end of this post. 

For now lets look into the fixes and improvements of this version:

  • Fixed resolution change refusing to change to the highest one.
  • List of players didn't scale properly for ultra-wide screens, that is now fixed (this is an issue I will address a bit later)
  • If you were lucky enough, Amelia could roll multiple flat cooldown reduction stats with her shards, bringing the cooldown to basically 0, she got corrected and will now not roll any flat cooldown stats ever again.
  • Arika's Void Embrace did not spawn the field in correct spot, she went through some training to allow her to better control her abilities as for it to not happen again.
  • The buff from Natalie's third shard was only applied after obtaining all of her shards, she's been politely explained that it cannot work this way.
  • Nishi's new form Vanquisher of Faith dealt a tad bit too much damage, his whole kit have been toned down against his will to bring him in line.

Aside from the above fixes I added a bit of dithering effect (transparency) to enemies that are close to the camera as well as some abilities to reduce visual clutter but that still needs tweaking. Just a heads up that it is a thing now if you see some semi transparent enemies.

As for 1.6.0 I want to step away from the co-op experience for now, unless there are some obvious bugs to fix that I haven't quite found out. Don't worry, we will get back to the things that are still missing in there but can't promise these will land by the next major release.

Anyway, I plan a big UI overhaul as a main feature of 1.6.0, I've got a few menus designed out but there is much more left, so most changes are still just on paper, here a sneak peak of a new character selection screen that's still in the making!

I'm quite happy with how it turns out but as you can see there is still plenty to do!
