Progress report on the next update!


Hello!

Long time no see. I wanted to make a post once the update is ready but since it's still in works I thought I might as well share some new stuff that is almost ready for the next big release!

In the previous post I promised new weapons, character and a map and I fully commit to delivering on all of these. 

So the new character is pretty much ready for release, some lore fragments need tying up but gameplay is very much done, it is the one character I had in mind since the very beginning of this project and I really want to make her stand out.


And so far I'm quite happy with her!

I've also added a couple new weapons for the elements that were lacking so far like wind and earth  with plans to deliver more before the update releases. Altho ideas for unique attacks have been running dry...

New weapon type will also appear in 1.7: Follow-Ups. Weapons of these types have conditions for releasing it's projectiles and I hope it will be an interesting type to play around with :)

And the long awaited new map!


It's the first time I made a closed space maps and my workflow have been utterly shit since for some reason I haven't watched any tutorials, hence it's taking forever to get anything done, but hey, you live you learn and I'm sure next one is going to be straight up better and produced in a fraction of the time this one took!

New map will also introduce brand new enemies that I'm currently working on animating, assigning stats for and so on.

So still quite a few things left to do. The map itself will take a lot of play-testing so I can't make any promises on when it will be available. Basically it's done when it's done which should be somewhat soon.

I haven't tested anything in CO-OP and it is it's own can of worms that I'm not ready for just yet :")

I would also like to release 1.7.0b on Steam once it's ready so perhaps we might get a big release over there too!
